—— CCCM-2 in Zhenjiang

The 2nd China International Composites science and Technology Conference CCCM-2, which is a conferecnce for the academic communication and science promotion in the civil composite field with the largest range and high level, held in Zhenjiang New Area on Sep. 21st, 2015. Dr. Zhou Qing, general manager of Beijing Protech, was invited to attend the seminar on the high performance fiber branch field and made a special speech.

This session of the General Assembly invited more than 1000 domestic and foreign leading experts, including 6 academicians and the responsible persons of the well-known enterprises, key research institutes and laboratories,to attend the conference. They made discussion and exchange around the theme of innovation driven industry of composite materials. Dr. Zhou Qing had a special speech of “the application of high performance fibers in the bulletproof field” about the development and application of bulletproof composite materials and caused the concern by the majority of scholars.

Dr. Zhou Qing proposed that the R&D and production of some high performance fiber products on China have closed to the international advanced level. The bulletproof composite materials gain a preliminary international market competitiveness. Through the joint efforts of the majority of the material workers, the bulletproof materials have stepped on a new level. The technology transformation of composite material on light weight and comfort has become an inevitable development trend.
