The forum was successfully held in Jizhou District, Tianjin, from June 5th to 7th. It was hosted by the Chinese Society for Composite Materials, and supported by Beijing Protech New Material Science Co., Ltd.

Yu Jianyong, President of Chinese Society for Composite Materials and academician of Donghua University, was invited to attend the forum and made a speech. Nearly 120 industry representatives, including scholars from major universities, research institute experts and corporate leaders in the field of ballistic and blast-resistant composites, gathered in Tianjin to exchange views on industrial development.
Dr. Johnny Zhou from Beijing Protech New Material Science Co., Ltd. was appointed as a member of the Academic Committee of the forum. At the forum, he made a keynote presentation titled "Research on Structural Design and Ballistic Response of Advanced Ballistic Composites." In his report, he presented research findings on factors affecting the ballistic performance, mechanical behavior and ballistic response of UHMWPE composites, as well as damage energy absorption and ballistic performance evaluation models. The report offered valuable guidance for scientific research and technological progress in the industry.
